Flowers For Those Hurting

Our third, fourth, and fifth grade classes did a service project this week. They made inspirational cards, painted flower pots and planted flowers. The kids also said a prayer for the person who receives the flower.
The Flowers were taken over to church where Father Breidenbach will bless them this weekend during Mass. Anyone is welcome to take a flower after mass and deliver it to someone that they know is hurting.

Lord, our God, who watches over your creatures with unfailing care, Keep us in the safe embrace of your love. with your strong right hand raise up the people who receive this plant and give them the strength that only your Spirit can give. Minister to them and heal them of all their pain so that they may receive from you the help that they long for. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
